Some grading including cut and a series of concrete retaining walls were utilized in order to fit the building on the slope while meeting strict height limitations.
The foundation was comprised of Grade Beams and Piers some descending 20 feet into the ground to reach bedrock.
The driveway deck was framed with heavy gauge steel posts and beams and topped with a complex concrete deck sloped in various direction for drainage.
The structure was comprised of wood framing, several steel moment frames, and a series of stick framed, and prefabricated roof trusses supporting an asphalt tile roof. Due to extreme high winds on the hill sides, various heavy duty Simpson framing hardware needed to be utilized.
