The program included five bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, family room, formal dining and living rooms. The unusually shaped former railroad easement dictated a long and narrow design which needed to feel spacious and elegant.
The turn of the century era railroad site also presented an excavation challenge due to boulders placed as foundation underneath the rails.
Due to archeological concerns, extra care and sensitivity needed to be used during the design process in terms of the placement of the structure as the lot was near an American Indian Village who lived in this beautiful area called the Cove.
